Die simboliek van Grey Kollege se wapen:
Die drie sirkels stel kanonkoeëls voor. Dit verteenwoordig die waardes van geloof, hoop en liefde – waardes waarna elke Grey-seun moet streef.
The knight’s head symbolises courage. One requires this characteristic to be successful in life and to overcome the difficulties that lie ahead.
The knight’s head appeared on the emblems of untitled gentlemen. This is fitting because Grey boys are referred to as Grey Gentlemen.
The white unicorn represents vigour and virility. Grey boys must enter the world with courage, equipped with the qualities instilled at Grey College.
The colour white in the shield denotes peace.
Die son simboliseer hoop en die opkomende geslagte wat toegerus moet word om op die verlede voort te bou.

Grey Kollege is ’n tradisieryke skool wat op 13 Oktober 2023, 168 jaar van uitnemendheid sal vier. Seuns van regoor die land kom hierheen om parallelmediumonderrig te ontvang. Seuns, personeel en alumni word uitgeken deur die bekende Grey-handdruk wat wêreldwyd bekend is.
Niks wat onwaar is, is standvastig nie. Vive La Grey!
Grey College is a school rich in tradition and will celebrate 168 years of excellence on 13 October in 2023. Boys from across the country come here to receive parallel medium tuition. Boys, staff and alumni are recognised by the legendary Grey handshake which is known across the globe.
Nothing is steadfast if it is not true. Vive La Grey!
