Grey College’s prestigious newspaper (winner of the award for the best digital school newspaper in Netwerk24’s ‘Skolenuus’ competition in 2021) is truly the voice of the boys. The editorial team consists of grade 9–12 learners while the core editorial team comprises senior boys. Stabilis has two guardian teachers (one for Afrikaans and one for English) and the team endeavours to release two to three editions annually. Learners with a fondness for languages, photography and media, and boys who want to put their creative skills to the test in the form of articles that cover sport, culture, news and depth are encouraged to apply to become a part of the editorial team.
Grey Kollege se spogkoerant (wenner van die toekenning vir die beste digitale skoolkoerant in Netwerk24 se Skolenuus-kompetisie in 2021) is as’t ware die stem van die seuns. Die redaksie bestaan uit graad 9–12 leerders terwyl senior seuns die kernredaksie vorm. Stabilis het twee voogonderwysers (een vir Afrikaans en een vir Engels) en die span poog om jaarliks twee tot drie uitgawes uit te reik. Leerders met ’n voorliefde vir tale, fotografie en media, en seuns wat hul kreatiewe deel in die vorm van sport, kultuur, nuus of diepteberigte op die proef wil stel, word aangemoedig om aansoek te doen om deel te word van die redaksie.
